Crisis Assistance Ministry Partner Agencies are a network of human service organizations that serve residents of Mecklenburg County. These are typically either 501(c)(3) nonprofits or government agencies who identify a need for emergency financial assistance, furniture, appliances, or other basic needs in the course of providing services for their customers.
To become a Partner Agency, organizations complete a short online application. Once received, a member of our team will contact you to review the application and discuss applicable services. Once approved, individual staff members will be invited to complete online training and/or access approved services on behalf of your customers.
Applications are made on behalf of an entire organization or agency. Individual employees of existing partner agencies seeking training should consult their internal point of contact or email our Partner Agency team for more information.
If you have any questions about being a Partner Agency or the online portal, please email our Partner Agency team.
Partner Agency staff is available Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, except holidays.
Partner Agencies may shop for clothing and household goods on behalf of the individuals and families they serve. Items are offered in bulk and free of charge to nonprofits for distribution directly to low-income Mecklenburg County residents. This service is available to registered partner agencies by appointment.
Trained Partner Agency caseworkers who identify a need for emergency financial assistance through the course of working with their customers, can submit an online referral to Crisis Assistance Ministry on their behalf.
